How the Ultra Peat Whisky Kit Works

This is a barrel infusion and maturation kit — not a distillation kit.

Step 1 – Add Ultra Peat Essence

Pour the included Ultra Peat premium essence packets into your oak aging barrel using the provided funnel.

Essence quantity varies by barrel size:

  • 1 Liter Kit = 2 Packets

  • 2 Liter Kit = 2 Packets

  • 3 Liter Kit = 3 Packets

  • 5 Liter Kit = 5 Packets

  • 10 Liter Kit = 10 Packets

  • 20 Liter Kit = 20 Packets

Step 2 – Add Neutral Spirit

Fill the barrel with vodka or neutral grain spirit (alcohol not included).

Step 3 – Insert Bung & Age

Seal the barrel and allow your spirit to mature for 7–10 days minimum.

Step 4 – Taste & Adjust

Small barrels age spirits 8x to 10x faster than commercial distillery barrels due to higher wood-to-liquid surface area ratio.

Begin tasting after one week for optimal smoke and oak integration.

Step 5 – Pour Directly from the Barrel

Dispense from the wooden spigot and enjoy neat, on the rocks, or in classic Scotch cocktails.
