The Mexicalli Sour is a riff on the Jalisco Sour using mezcal instead of tequila, lemon juice, agave syrup, and optionally, a dash of egg white or cocktails foamer. This riff has a more smokey flavor then that of tequila but still contains the agave or maguey flavor notes made famous in the Mexicalli region of western Mexico.
